Can I provide my own crypto wallet to receive the certificate?

No, and more importantly: it does not matter.

EMOZ does not support connecting your own crypto wallet because it is not needed and would not change anything about the way the certificate works or who it belongs to.

Here is why:

  • EMOZ certificates are issued as non-transferable NFTs (also called soulbound tokens).

  • These certificates cannot be moved, sold, gifted, or reassigned to any other wallet—including yours.

  • Once created, they are permanently linked to the file hash and the blockchain transaction ID, not to a user-controlled address.

Why not using your wallet is actually a feature (not a limitation):

  • The system is designed to remove friction: no wallet setup, no blockchain tools, no failed transactions.

  • You stay anonymous and off-chain: your identity is only known to you and encrypted in your certificate.

  • The proof of authorship does not depend on who holds the NFT, but on:

    • The fingerprint of your file (SHA-256 hash)

    • The encrypted metadata bound to it

    • The private seed in your certificate PDF

So how is ownership proven?

Your ownership is tied to the evidence:

  • You hold the original file.

  • You hold the PDF certificate with the private seed.

  • You can always prove authorship by matching your file’s hash to the blockchain record and decrypting the metadata.

Even if someone could access the NFT on-chain, they could not change it, transfer it, or prove authorship without your file and your PDF.

Bottom line:

Using your own wallet is not just unnecessary, it is also irrelevant.

You are already the owner of the certificate the moment it is issued, and that ownership is self-contained, immutable, and provable forever.
