Can someone else claim my file using the same hash?

No. The fingerprint of your file (SHA-256 hash) is unique to the exact content. Any change (even a single byte, such as adding a space or changing a single character) produces a completely different hash.

Also:

  • Each file hash can only be registered once in EMOZ.

  • If someone tries to claim ownership of an identical file, the system will reject it because it is already registered.
